AGC²T is a long-standing international conference series bringing together researchers at the interface of algebraic geometry, number theory, cryptography, and coding theory. Since its creation in 1987, the conference has provided an opportunity for exchanges between these closely connected areas, promoting interactions between theoretical developments, explicit methods, and applications.

The conference covers, in particular, the following topics:
 
  • Algebraic and arithmetic geometry over finite fields and global fields;
  • Number theory, with a particular focus on explicit and algorithmic aspects;
  • Algebraic-geometric coding theory, including codes constructed from curves and higher-dimensional algebraic varieties over finite fields;
  • Arithmetic and geometric aspects of cryptography, including public-key and post-quantum cryptography.
AGC²T est une conférence internationale de longue date qui réunit des chercheuses et chercheurs à l’interface entre la géométrie algébrique, la théorie des nombres, la cryptographie et la théorie des codes. Depuis sa création en 1987, la conférence offre un cadre privilégié pour les échanges entre ces domaines étroitement liés, en favorisant les interactions entre développements théoriques, méthodes explicites et applications.
 

La conférence couvre notamment les thématiques suivantes :

  • Géométrie algébrique et arithmétique sur les corps finis et les corps globaux ;
  • Théorie des nombres, avec un intérêt particulier pour les aspects explicites et algorithmiques ;
  • Théorie des codes algébriques-géométriques, notamment les codes construits à partir de courbes et de variétés algébriques de dimension supérieure sur des corps finis ;
  • Aspects arithmétiques et géométriques de la cryptographie, notamment la cryptographie à clé publique et la cryptographie post-quantique.
