This event brings together leading researchers in stochastic analysis, optimal transport, and machine learning to advance theory and algorithms for modern generative modeling, flow matching, gradient-flow methods, and reinforcement learning. The program blends tutorials, invited/keynote talks, contributed sessions, and open-problem forums, with strong emphasis on participation by early-career researchers.

The conference uniquely bridges rigorous probabilistic methods (SDEs, mean-field limits, propagation of chaos) with optimal-transport geometry (Wasserstein/Fisher–Rao) and state-of-the-art ML systems (diffusion models, rectified flows, policy-gradient RL). Framed through a common variational and control-theoretic lens, it aims to sharpen guarantees, improve algorithms, and clarify when theory predicts practice.

The event will strengthen ties across French laboratories and the Marseille ecosystem through hands-on tutorials and networking, showcasing France’s leadership in OT and stochastic analysis. Internationally, it will help set a research agenda on reliability, efficiency, and robustness of generative and control methods, foster long-term collaborations, and support diversity and training via mentoring and opportunities for PhD students and postdocs.
