For the fourth consecutive year, the Aix-Marseille community of all those working in the field of quantum computing and technologies will gather in the CIRM auditorium. Once again, this will be a special opportunity to share our new research projects, but above all to reflect on a common strategy within the framework of the France 2030 projects. We will also take the opportunity to present QuantEduFrance’s recent actions and the opportunities offered by the next training programme at AMU and Centrale Méditerranée.
In addition, this meeting, which will take place on 9 and 10 December, will be an opportunity to present the new QuantA (Quantum Initiative at Aix-Marseille) institute project, currently under evaluation, supported by 11 CNRS UMRs in our metropolis. This project is currently supported by a large ecosystem comprising numerous players from the socio-economic world (IBM, Eviden, SealSQ, etc.), the Aix-Marseille high-performance computing centre and the Region SUD, and aims to build a quantum hub in the south of France in the medium term.
During these days, we will also discuss the new synergies we need to build: from the ecological impact to the legal regulation of these new technologies.
