This conference will become the sixth in the series of international conferences joining the researchers on history of mathematics education from all the continents to present their actual research and to discuss methodological and cross-cultural impact and importance. Proceedings of the conferences were published, after each of them was peer-reviewed, resulting thus in an optimal dissemination of the work done and its impact on pertinent research.

The main thematic issues of this conference will be:

1. ​to compare recent research on the history of mathematics education at the international level;  
2. to highlight and analyse the interrelations between the history of mathematics and the history of mathematics education;
3. to explore new methods of research, interpretation and evaluation of sources;  
4. to enrich the history of education with a comparative approach to the mathematical contents taught;  
5. to take into account the sociological context to analyze the educational and professional scope of mathematics education;  
6. to analyze internationally the dissemination of conceptions and reforms in  mathematical education.

Cette conférence sera la sixième de la série des conférences internationales rassemblant les chercheurs sur l’histoire des mathématiques de tous les continents, afin de présenter leurs recherches actuelles et échanger sur leur impact et leur importance méthodologique et transculturelle. Des Actes des Conférences sont publiés, après chacune d’elles, révisés par des pairs, permettant une diffusion optimale des travaux et un impact pertinent sur la recherche.

Les principaux objectifs thématiques sont:

1. confronter les recherches récentes sur l’histoire de l’enseignement des mathématiques au niveau international ;
2. mettre en évidence et analyser les interrelations entre l’histoire des mathématiques et l’histoire de l’enseignement des mathématiques ;
3. explorer les nouvelles méthodes de recherche, d’interprétation et d’évaluation des sources ;
4. enrichir l’histoire de l’éducation par une approche comparative des contenus mathématiques enseignés ;
5. prendre en compte le contexte sociologique pour analyser la portée éducative et professionnelle de l’enseignement des mathématiques ;
6. analyser à l’échelon international la diffusion des conceptions et des réformes de l’enseignement mathématique.
