This conference aims at bringing together researchers working on random walks, random graphs, and related stochastic processes, since these models play a central role in the study of complex systems with randomness and interaction, from disordered media to network dynamics. The goal of the workshop is to give an overview of recent advances on topics including random walks in random environments, interacting particle systems, reinforced processes, exploration and branching processes, an on various random-walkbased models arising in statistical mechanics.
The conference will bring together researchers from several related fields to folster interdisciplinary exchanges, and the program will feature talks covering a broad range of topics that should resonate with the interests of everyone. We will gather researchers at all career stages, and we will include dedicated time for discussions in order:
(i) to encourage exchanges of ideas and interaction among participants,
(ii) to identify promising directions of research,
(iii) to create opportunities for new cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Cette conférence vise à réunir des chercheurs travaillant sur les marches aléatoires, les graphes aléatoires et processus stochastiques associés, ces modèles jouant un rôle central dans la compréhension de systèmes complexes avec des interactions aléatoires, comme les systèmes désordonnés et les réseaux aléatoires. L’objectif de l’atelier est de proposer un panorama des avancées récentes sur des thèmes variés, tels que les marches aléatoires en environnement aléatoire, les systèmes de particules en interaction, les processus renforcés, les processus d’exploration et de branchement, ou des modèles de mécanique statistique basés sur des marches aléatoires.
La conférence réunira des chercheurs travaillant dans plusieurs domaines connexes afin de favoriser les échanges inter-disciplinaires. Le programme comprendra des exposés couvrant un large éventail de thèmes, susceptibles d’intéresser l’ensemble des participants. Nous rassemblerons des chercheurs à tous les stades de leur carrière et nous prévoirons des temps dédiés aux discussions, afin :
(i) d’encourager les interactions entre les participants et les échanges scientifiques,
(ii) d’identifier des pistes de recherche prometteuses,
(iii) de créer des opportunités de nouvelles collaborations interdisciplinaires.
