This introductory school for the semester « High Dimensional Probability and Analysis, Continuous and Discrete » organized at the IHP from April 19 to July 5, 2027 (relocated to the CIRM from April 19 to 23) has the main objective of introducing certain classical results in analysis and probability in high dimension. Its aim is above all educational and the target audience is young researchers wishing to learn the very rich and varied basics of the field. The school will see 5 researchers internationally recognized for their expertise on the basis of one day per researcher and per theme.
The questions of isoperimetry, convex analysis in high dimension, functional inequalities, maximal section of convex sets and random matrices will be addressed.
Cette école introductive au semestre « High Dimensional Probability and Analysis, Continuous and Discrete » organisée à l’IHP du 19 avril au 5 juillet 2027 (délocalisé au CIRM du 19 au 23 avril) a pour objectif principal d’introduire certains résultats classiques en analyse et probabilité en grande dimension. Son but est avant tout pédagogique et le public visé celui des jeunes chercheurs désireux d’apprendre les bases (très riches et variées) du domaine. L’école verra se succéder 5 chercheurs internationalement reconnus pour leur expertise sur la base d’un jour par chercheur et par thème.
Seront abordées les questions d’isopérimétrie, d’analyse convexe en grande dimension, d’inégalités fonctionnelles, de section maximale des convexes et de matrices aléatoires.
