This introductory school for the semester « High Dimensional Probability and Analysis, Continuous and Discrete » organized at the IHP from April 19 to July 5, 2027 (relocated to the CIRM from April 19 to 23) has the main objective of introducing certain results at the interface between Information Theory and High dimensional Convex Geometry. Its aim is above all educational and the target audience is young researchers wishing to learn the very rich and varied basics of the field. It specifically introduces the first workshop of the semester « Workshop 1: Convexity and Information Theory » May 10 to 14, 2027 – IHP, Paris to which participants are encourage to participate.
Cette école d’initiation au semestre « Probabilités et analyse en haute dimension, continues et discrètes », organisée à l’IHP du 19 avril au 5 juillet 2027 (déplacée au CIRM du 19 au 23 avril), a pour objectif principal de présenter certains résultats classiques en analyse et en probabilités en haute dimension. Son objectif est avant tout pédagogique et le public visé est constitué de jeunes chercheurs souhaitant acquérir les bases très riches et variées de ce domaine. L’école accueillera 5 chercheurs de renommée internationale pour leur expertise, à raison d’une journée par chercheur et par thème.
Les questions de l’isopérimétrie, de l’analyse convexe en haute dimension, des inégalités fonctionnelles, de la section maximale des ensembles convexes et des matrices aléatoires seront abordées.
