The KEN project (KAM Theory, EDP and Numerics) fits into the realm of the mathematical analysis of non- linear time dependent differential systems stem from physical models, partial differential equations, finite di- mensional systems and numerical schemes.

Solutions to Hamiltonian dynamical systems of large or infinite dimension exhibit various type of qualitative behaviours, from stability (KAM tori, preservation of Sobolev norms, reducibility), to turbulence (exchanges between low and high frequencies, growth of Sobolev norms).

Many stability results exist, like stability of stationary states, solitary waves, almost preservation of Sobolev norms, existence of quasi-periodic solutions, complete integrability and almost integrability, reducibility in the case of periodic or quasi-periodic forcing. In a somewhat opposite direction, some results are available concerning the emergence of chaotic or weakly turbulent behavior such as the existence of exchanges between low and high frequencies, growth of
Sobolev norms, creation of small scales like vortices and the problem of numerical resonances for discrete models used to discretize solutions.

To make significant progress concerning well known identified conjectures (stability of solutions for nonlin- ear transport equations, generic stability results for semilinear PDEs, weakly turbulent solutions) many different tools have to be combined, coming from a priori distant communities:
dynamical systems, PDEs and numerical analysis. The originality of the Conference thus lies in this unique gathering of mathematicians coming from three different fields and to attack these problems with a meeting of minds and expertises.
