The aim of this school is first of all to introduce young researchers to the field of Loop Models, Conformal Field Theory and Geometry, and importantly also to enable established researchers to expand their scope and to interact with others having slightly different backgrounds but working on related problems. Interaction across mathematical areas has already proved to be crucial in the advances of mathematically rigorous QFT.

L’objectif de cette école est d’introduire les jeunes chercheurs dans le domaine des modèles à boucles, la théorie des champs ainsi la géométrie, et surtout de permettre aux chercheurs établis d’élargir leur champ d’action et d’interagir avec d’autres personnes ayant des antécédents légèrement différents mais travaillant sur des problèmes connexes. L’interaction entre les domaines mathématiques s’est déjà avérée cruciale dans les progrès de la QFT mathématiquement rigoureuse.
