These are bi-annual meetings organized by the Société Française de Statistique (SFdS) since 1984. The aim of the Journées is to devote a week to the indepth study of a well-defined theme, in a setting that encourages meetings and discussions.
The main themes are
• acquisition of basic notions,
• the most important and recent developments,
• future perspectives and applications.
The Journées are open to statisticians who are not necessarily specialists in the subject under discussion, and bring together academics, PhD students and statisticians working for companies or supporting research in other disciplines (INSERM, Inrae, etc.). The presentations are published in a document distributed to participants, followed by a book published by Technip.
Ce sont des rencontres bi-annuelles organisées par la Société Française de Statistique (SFdS) depuis 1984. Le but des Journées est de se consacrer pendant une semaine à l’approfondissement d’un thème bien défini, dans un cadre favorisant rencontres et discussions.
Les orientations principales sont :
• acquisition de notions de base,
• développements les plus importants et les plus récents,
• perspectives futures et applications.
Ces Journées sont ouvertes à un public de statisticiens non nécessairement spécialistes du sujet traité et rassemblent à la fois, des académiques, des étudiant.e.s en thèse et des statisticiens en entreprise ou en appui à la recherche dans d’autres disciplines (INSERM, Inrae, …). Les exposés font l’objet d’un document distribué aux participants puis d’un ouvrage édité chez Technip.
