We plan to study the interaction between Bose-Einstein condensates and their surrounding thermal clouds by means of evolutionary coupled Schrodinger/Uehling-Uhlenbeck systems. The approach to equilibrium (and the nature of this equilibrium) is an open important issue, we want to discuss. We also would like to identify the main difficulties in dealing with the Haldane model.
