WORKSHOP

Random Energy Model and Random Complex Functions II
Modèle à énergies aléatoires et fonctions complexes aléatoires II

25 – 29 September, 2023

Participants

Bertrand Duplantier (IPhT – Université Paris-Saclay)
Véronique Gayrard (Aix-Marseille Université)

During this workshop, we wish to further expend work developed during a Research in Residence which took place at CIRM from February 27 to March 10. It studies the statistics of the random energy model (REM), introduced by B. Derrida in 1980, in the complex temperature domain via random complex functions. It is an exactly solvable canonical model of statistical mechanics with disorder. The approach followed is both physical and probabilistic.
