The conference will bring together mathematicians working on operator spaces (noncommutative functional analysis), locally compact quantum groups (noncommutative harmonic analysis), quantum probability, quantum information, and linear and non linear geometry of Banach spaces in order to stimulate exchanges of expertise and ideas, to encourage the circulation of open problems and to deepen the synergies between these different directions. It will in particular be dedicated to functional analysis aspects of group theory, including its generalisation to compact and locally compact quantum groups, following the four mainlines:
• Topological quantum groups and their operator algebras, • Quantum probability theory, including free probability, • Noncommutative Lp-spaces and quantum harmonic analysis, • Coarse embeddings of Banach spaces |
