New Isogeny Theorems
July 4-15, 2016
In two 2014 joint papers, we revisited Masser and Wüstholz isogeny theorems from the early nineties. We gave totally explicit versions of their upper bounds for isogenies between abelian varieties over number fields. These bounds ultimately come from a period theorem but in a rather roundabout way.

We aim to give a more direct approach, which would shed some new light on this kind of results. It would also provide better upper bounds for a large class of isogenies, including those most likely to be used in applications.
