CONFERENCE

Asymptotic Analysis of Evolution Equations
July 3 -7, 2017

This meeting will be the final conference of the French National Research Agency « ANR ANAÉ » (Asymptotic Analysis of Evolution Partial differential Equations) that will terminate at the end of 2017.

Its goal is to spread some of the results obtained during the four years of the project, and to discuss some of the achievements obtained by the community of dispersive equations at large, regarding its main themes. These include the study of instability phenomena related to energy transfer from low to high frequencies in non-linear dispersive equations, problems of existence of solutions for equations with random data, questions of global existence for some equations stemming from physics, notably the “water waves” equation, as well as explosion phenomena for wave or Schrödinger type equations.

The organizers also plan to widen the discussion, inviting some speakers at the interface of dispersive equations and related subjects, like infinite dimensional dynamical systems or hydrodynamics.
