RESEARCH SCHOOL
School of Biology for Students in Mathematics and Computer Scientists
June 29 – July 3, 2015
The Summer school of Biology has been organized in Luminy since 2002 and held at CIRM since 2008. Each year it gathers between fifteen and twenty participants.
The audience consists primarily of mathematicics students and computer scientists, physicists or engineers, and provides them with minimal training in biology, so they may be able to work at the interface between biology and their discipline.
Those of them who will work in the future at this interface will have every opportunity to deepen the field of biology concerned.
The minimum level required is a « Licence » (equivalent to a BSc.).

The courses are taught (in French) by teachers and researchers from various fields of biology, most of them working on the campus of Luminy, but also coming from INSERM or ENS.
