CONFERENCE

19th Workshop on Stochastic Geometry, Stereology and Image Analysis (SGSIA)
May 15 – 19, 2017

This conference is the 19th of a series of international workshops entitled Stochastic Geometry, Stereology and Image Analysis (SGSIA) which have been organized every two year since 1981. The event, which takes place for the first time in France, is the main occasion to promote recent advances in stochastic geometry, spatial statistics, convex and integral geometry, stereology and image analysis. It is simultaneously the yearly gathering of all members of the French research group Géométrie stochastique (GeoSto, GDR 3477) which has been funded by the French National Center for Scientific Research since 2012. The scientific program should cover all aspects of the main topics while going occasionally slightly beyond their frontiers. The schedule will naturally allow discussions and interactions between participants.
