CONFERENCE
Annual Conference of the Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis and Probability Gdr Research Group
November 30 – December 4, 2015

The main goal of the Journées d’Analyse Fonctionnelle, Harmonique et Probabilités is first to present recent researches of members of the associated Groupement De Recherche (Gdr AFHP) and second, to federate various French and foreign teams working in the fields of functional and harmonic analysis and probabilities.
These « Journées » take place every year in universities which are active in the Gdr AFHP. Last three years they were organized in Clermont-Ferrand (2011), Marne-La-Vallée (2012) and Lyon (2013). In 2014, they took place in Lille. 2015 will be the year of Marseille which will organize them at CIRM from November 30th to December 4th.
The aims of such a federative structure as Gdr AFHP are multiple : to transmit knowledge, in particular to young researchers, to give a global overview on active research fields, to animate a national network, etc. It actually constitutes a real need for the community of mathematicians working on functional analysis, harmonic analysis and their interaction with probabilities. The traditional « Journées du Gdr » is the main event, essential to the cohesion of the Gdr.
Every year, the « Journées du Gdr » are greatly successful since more than half of the members of the Gdr AFHP are present. One of the main reasons for such a success is that they cover a vaste panel of mathematics, having all strong interactions. Beyond the national event, the « Journées annuelles du Gdr AFHP » allows to strengthen collaborations with foreign  mathematicians working on connected fields. It consists in some talks given by plenary speakers and shorter talks given in particular by the youngest researchers to promote their works.
Notice that the Gdr AFHP povides a particular financial and scientific support to young members, and warmly encourages them to participate to the « Journées ».
